Lancome Hypnose Waterproof Mascara

Something that every girl needs to have is mascara!

Loncome has a range of mascaras. They have one for volume, curl, length, etc. Loncome Hypnose Waterproof Custom Volume Mascara I've heard is one of the top, best mascaras. A lot of Bloggers have raged about this product. That's how I actually when out and got this. I was looking for a good high-end waterproof mascara and this was on rage at the moment.

This product comes in two shades: black and brown. I got the black one. You could get the brown one for a more natural look. This ones waterproof, so there is no worry about it melting or coming off at any point of the day. It does last a long time without any smudges. No irritation. It comes with a thin wand and short, close bristles. Always wear two coats for better effect.

What I don't like about this product is that the mascara can be a little thick. So when you apply it, it kind of all clumps together and makes spidery eyelashes. I need to go over it with an eyelash comb to separate my lashes. Also, I feel like it doesn't give a lot of volume. I think this mascara works best for a day time long wear, natural look.

You could use a lash primer before for better results. Loncome does have a lash primer which I've heard is good.

I rate this product a 3/5. I don't know if I would purchase this again but it is a good product, worth the price.

Now, go bat those eyelashes! ;)

This past month

Hello Everybody!

The past one month has been the most relaxed one month in years I must say. Done with my Bachelors and now I am just jobless (pun on that). And surprisingly I haven't been shopping all that much. That's why I haven't blogged in a while. But I have started to be more healthy, well, at least trying to be. Haha!

I have stopped having any kind of cheesy food and aerated drinks. Hows that for a start eh? Fruit juices are in and bottles and bottles of water. As Mumbai does't have spring and it is pretty hot already, I need to keep myself well hydrated.

For the first time ever, I baked cookies! My friend and I made about 9 different types of cookies: cinnamon, ginger, coconut, lemon, choco-chip, peanut butter, oat meal, melting moments and butter cookies. It was so exciting! I thought it would be hard but it was very easy. All of them came out just right and were so yummy! =P

I also went to a water park with my friends and I got terribly tanned. I'm not a big fan of getting tanned as I already have a tan skin tone. If you guys know any way of getting rid of your tan, lemme know!

Thats about it for April. Nothing all that exciting.

Tell me how your April went.

Bye! :*

John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum

John Frieda is well known for their hair serums. They have serums for all kinds of hair type, curly, straight, thick, thin, dry, normal. I got the Frizz Ease Hair Serum Extra-Strength Formula as my hair is a little frizzy and thin. I think this the most raved about product. I've seen every beauty guru use this and thats how I got to using this product.

It comes in a bottle with a pump for easy use. It has a gel type formula with no colorant. It does have slight salon smell to it but you can't smell it once it's on your hair. It's best for Chemically treated hair or dry and frizz prone hair like it says on the bottle.

You can use this after you shampoo your hair which is still damp but not towel dried. Squeeze out the extra moisture from your hair before putting the serum. The amount of use is according to the length of your hair. If you have short hair, you don't need a lot of product, half a pump is enough. And if long hair then maybe one pump is good enough. Apply the serum to the ends of your hair more than on the roots. It leaves your hair with a smooth, easy to manage and healthy looking. It leaves behind a shine which doesn't look greasy or oily. it protects your hair from weather related frizz.

Blow drying after will leave your hair with a pretty shine.

I would give it a 4.5/5 as it really lives up to its expectations but it can be a little pricy.

Lemme know what you think about it! :)

Aleo Vera Gel

First of all, I haven't been blogged in a while because my final uni exams are going on and I have been busy with that.
But once my holidays start I'll be blogging every week.. Yay!! ^_^

So as you all might know, Aleo Vera has many soothing properties. It's an ingredient in many products like foundation, BB creams, moisturizer, and many more. It also has healing properties. It can heal acne, sunburn or any irritation.

For people who have oily or combination skin, gel consistency will be suitable. As gel is not greasy or creamy. It is also very cooling.

The Fruit of the Earth Aleo Vera Gel is 100% alcohol free with added extracts of vitamin E. This gel is fragrant free and has no colorant. It is good for dry, sensitive and acne prone skin. What this product does is it reduces redness or any irritation. It might seem thick and sticky at first but it absorbs into your skin in seconds and leaves your skin feeling hydrated and smooth. It can be used to set your eyebrows or even a hair gel. Or as an after shave to bring back some moisture into you skin. It also works as a make-up corrector. It has no oil so it wont leave back any residue.

This product comes in different sizes in a tube or in a bottle form.

I use The Fruit of the Earth Alero Vera GeI in my night time skin care routine as a face moisturizer. It really hydrates my skin and brings back moisture. Continues use will defiantly bring changes to you skin. I rate this product a 4/5.
